Put them in a old pair of nylons or a mesh bag, and after like three days,
Smoosh the bag really good and pull it out.
That day test your Ammonia,, (dont waste your time and test kits until then..) BTW good test kits are your best friend.
It should be OFF THE CHARTS.
about 3-6 days later the ammonia should slam down to 0 and your nitrItes should be sky high..
about 5-10 days after that the nirtItes should go to 0 and the nirAtes
should start to show up.
When you get a 0 reading on your nirItes
your ready for a water change and some fish.
