I moved my 55g tank out of my apartment last week and set it up in its new location. I just noticed today a 1" hairline crack in the corner of the aquarium. The crack is on the outside of the pane of glass and i cant feel it from the inside of the tank. The tank is full and has not leaked a drop. Would you trust the tank, or is it liable to burst at any moment. I havent put any fish in it yet, I am cycling it fishlessly.

Fix it; I have seen them .. be fine... grow... then all of the sudden you are cleaning 50g of water off the floor at 4:30 in the morning with a hangover in your underwear

Can you give us a pic, to see where it's going. If it's just going to cut off a corner you can fix it in place.
