Yeah, just because adding dithers worked for me doesn't mean it will work for you. It took a few weeks for him to give it up, an he probably killed 15 sunnies over the course of it. I also suspect that when he messed with my blue cat and it ended up getting a piece of him may have helped, too. He realized he WASN'T billy bad bass after all. A month after I started trying to introduce other fish, he's really settled down and accepted it. He is still the undisputed ruler of the tank, he's still a bully. He simply stopped killing the other fish.
 
Sigh... I own a 150 that I'm setting up when I get into my new house.
 
Did I miss something? ... All of these are in a 55. I hope this is a grow out for at least a 1000gallon plus tank. You said "large channel". None of the fish on this tank are large lol not to flame or anything because if in fact you do have a future plan congrats on some great fish. Just the channel and the blue especially get over three feet long.
