55g re-silicone upgrade????

Question??? i have a standard 55 gallon. i want to strip all silicone out. and re-silicone it BUT i want to silicone that instead of the LWH being 48.12.21. after i am done with it it will b 48.21.12 for LWH what do u guys think??? that will b for the 2 rays=D IDEA'z Also i will of course have the peace that is longer for the redone hight.

How is the bottom pane of glass going to grow from 12" wide to 21" wide while still allowing for 2 (front and back) pieces???!!!! Are you going to buy one more piece of glass?

use the bottom for a side and cut oine of the sides?

One of the current sides will become the bottom, the ends will remain the ends, just turned 90 degrees, the bottom will be used as one of the long sides, and the extra sheet will have to be cut from 48"x21" to 48"x12 so it will be the same as the piece that used to be the bottom.
