thanks again for the comments. i got some egg crate yesterday and made a lid for the tank so i wont have any jumpers. i talked to my LFS and they said they should have a shipment of salvini in on wednesday

well my LFS who said they would be getting in sals for the past 3 weeks still dont have them in so i might have to change my stocking list. if they dont get them in this week i think im gonna go with a gold sev, GT and a firemouth instead or maybe some angels and rams

the tank is doing great and the 9 danio i put in there are still loving their space to swim

nothing at all. place i got it from said it was pre soaked and would sink, i stuck it in and sank like a rock

Are those white things bubbles that stuck to the glass?

Yes, I believe so

Regarding this question whenever I change my bettas' tanks their are usually air bubbles stuck to the side and one time it was on the betta himself!confused

I think it's just part of filling up the tank

(might be a bit un-realated since bettas are not considered 'monster fish'. But until I get my oscar my tropical fish will have to do)

Looks real right good now. Whatever you decide to put in there ought to be happy. Salvini's are one of cichlids i hope to keep one day.
