Hi,

We've just managed to get a juwel vision 260 at a good price and are looking to get it up and running. We've done malawi's, planted tanks and a 55G marine in the past but have had a bit of a break for a while.
We're limited to a 55G at the moment so increasing the size is not an option.

We like cichlids and love green terrors. Others we've seen that we like are salvinis, geophagus, convicts, EBJDs, severums. We've also had kribs and apsito's in the past but fancy something more substantial this time. Some catfish and a pleco would also be on the cards.

Any ideas of including any of the above without us having just a tank with 1 fish in it. We'd like to have some smaller fish in there as well so there is some activity to look at.

I know we won't be able to tick every box but we musn't be any different to other people in that we want a couple of nice big show fish and some activity in the tank.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Toby

Cats to go with severums. Maybe something asking the lines of Cory cats. Raphael cats are a possibility as well, bigger but slower growing. Lots of possibilities for smaller plecos. Bristle nose are a safe choice. Probably wouldn't do a green terror in there and stay away from convicts unless you keep just one sex to prevent runaway breeding and even that may not stop them.

Green terror get to big?

Big enough and pretty mean usually. Doubt severums are up for that fight.
