I think i would go with the breeder. I have 2 55's up currently but i am really using them to grow out tanks till my 180 gets here. just a few more weeks

I have 2 55gallon tanks, they each house one oscar, I wished i would have went bigger in the beginning. I have had them for about 7 months now and they are both 9 inches plus. Go with the 55

I have a 55 and a 40B, the 55 sucks... Go with a 75/90 or a 60, which is based off of the 30/40B. The issue with the 55 is that it is only 13" deep, if you have any animal over 5" it looks like its cramped. 55s are good for small tetras, nothing large. I had a friend with a 55 and 2 oscars, each over 8", and they grew arched backs because the skinny tank.

Get the 55, your oscars back is not going to arch, i promise

my point was the 55 is plenty big for an oscar, or JD, i was getting at your fishes back is not going o arch because hes in a 55, i was just correcting steveo, well stevos friends, those oscars had something else wrong witht hem it wasent the "skinny tank"

What could I put with a JD in a 75? I would like an oscar, sveni, GT, and firemouth. obvioulsy the all won't fit in this tank.
