Nice tank, love the colors. Hope you have better luck with the live plants than I did. I tried it for a while, but decided to go back to the artificial. Just too many problems with 'em. Best of luck.
Thank you everyone. SKAustin, the first time I set up this tank I had 2WPG(Watts Per Gallon) and pressurized CO2. I could grow plants, and I could REALLY GROW Algae
. After fighting green water, constant algae, and dosing ferts, I gave up on real plants(My wife was pregnant at the time so I used that excuse to go back to plastic plants). Eventually, the bug came back, but I wanted a lower maintenance tank. So I dropped to 1WPG, kept my CO2 hooked up and started planting lower light plants like crypts and quit dosing ferts. Now I have an ok looking aquarium, and controllable algae. So if you don't succeed at first, try something different. And enjoy what you create(Although I am constantly changing things)
