harlequins wont work they will end up as food.

Any suggestions for what would work? I woulnt mind keeping say one black calvus and one gold comprissiceps if it meant i could add in a julidochromis of some sort. But again i dont have a clear understanding of how to properly balance my stock to avoid too much aggression and still maintain alot of biodiversity and color. Can anyone break down exactly how they would stock the tank in species and numbers? Im really interested in getting your ideas.

Also not completely opposed to doing just one species of calvus or comps. Just means im gonna have to decide which one to pick. I love them both so much! Argghhh!

As you can tell my heart is pretty much set on some form of altolamprologus as the centerpiece. Someone please show me what an acceptable stock list would look like with that in mind. I think if i had to choose one species it would probably be gold comps. But my lfs has some wild caught calvus kipili, and i think she said she could also get turleri. She also has fire fin comps, and gold comps all farm raised. Im burning up here. LOL. HELP!

You could do a couple of synodontis multis or petricola as these cool cats get around 5 inches max. They love coconaut shells by the way.
