  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol thanks. i ended up with this because the one i really wanted was gone. sounds like the wood business is doing well and i can see why.

i think im done messing with the hardscape finally. build had been very slow mainly due to moving around but i like how its coming together. few more WC to get the tannins down, other than that im ready for planting and fish.

I like the look so far and honestly wouldnt change it...

thanks, im waiting to make one big plant order. i was thinking of 6 of each anubian nana petite, anubias golden, needle leaf java fern, and regular java fern. sorry my first real planted tank and im going slow and making sure i do it somewhat right

To be fair i would have gone the same or similar route... Anyway, good luck with it and look forward to updates...

How are you lighting this tank again? Also, if you want to do just ferns and anubias....get a coffefolia anubias....they look really, really nice :P

Golds are okay, but I've never been fond of them. You might also want to take a look at trident java fern, just for more variety.

I'd also suggest looking into crypts and swords and lotus plants and the like for the substrate. I mean, if you wanted to plant the substrate.

light is a kessil a150w and im only planting on the driftwood. really pretty set on my plant list, just not the quantities and the only questionable plant really is frogsbit. if i have algea issues or fish start jumping i may add some. hopefully order up plants in the near future within the month for sure
