Filter pics for Li.

The filter floss works great so far. but I do not like the fact that my bio chamber is falling apart. I don't think I preped the acrylic or tube right before I attached it. either way I think if I change it it will go with heaters on bottom. then eggcrate then bio media then eggcrate then pumps with filter socks insted of floss. but I need to find about 25-30 gal of submerged media before I do this.

awesome stock (i love aros) but i do agree you need a little decor in there.
just a heads up on that rtc/tsn he may be a bit stunted as they'v had that fish for over 3-4years and were keeping it in a tiny breeder setup above the small tanks along the wall until about 6months ago when they moved it to the 125. didn't know if they'd told ya so i figured i'd give ya a heads up. and not sure if they ever did bother to feed it anything but goldfish either way AWESOME tank man

if he's stunted I would be cool with that. It will give me that much more time before I have to build another tank lol. He's overall aperance is great. had one bump from where he hit the glass in the tank he was in but that will soon go away. he gets market shrimp and pellet now. so he's diet is better.

it's really odd lol so basically it's roughly 11'long 36"wide and 28" tall but like I saie it's odd shaped. I'm willing to bet it's the only one in existance.
 
it was made by DAS dutch aquarium systems they make most aquarium setups for LFS. I mave been meaning to get ahold of them and see if they still have any info on this tank that I can get. I.E. who owned it first what's the exact gallons it hold. and see if I can get an extended warenty (sp).

Divide it into rectangles and triangles.(on paper that is) Calculate the volume of each and add.
Good looking tank, the niger really dwarfs the feifeng!

LOL someone finally commented. lol


I did a simple rough LxWxH on it when I got it and it was right up there at 600. So I was mor then loikly told right when I bought it. If I divde it up into squares or rectangles I will still get some oddballs to make it a big headache. lol So if I ever get ahold of DAS and they don't remember making it or have any info I'm just saying it's still 585. I'm happy with the size either way.
