thanks man, yes it does, the pvc pipes should trap some air. i also have suction cups that hold it about an inch out of the water.

Thats pretty friggn cool xander! So I take it the acrylic sheet is just one piece in the front? Is that a growout orino for the main tank...not housed for ever in the plant madness? And what are you gonna use for plant substrate? How are they gonna sit....this looks awesome. Great idea.

thanks dude. yeah it is, although i'm planning on getting sheets for some of the sides and base too.

haha, of course he'll be let out! not planning on planting stuff per say, just a ton of floating/climbing plants.

Floaters are awesome and really help with nitrate levels. Under optimum lighting they all proliferate like mad. Make sure to avoid duckweed though! It's a plague.

I bet...he's a snack to them. Being such a baller dont you have another tank you could grow out all these stunning cichla?

Time to go get another big tank just for cichla. Sounds like some people owe you a tank. And since you have such incredible cichla hook ups....a cichla tank would only seem right
