Man, this sucks. I check out for a little while, and the first thing I see when I get back is this.

Ik you know what you are up to, your new tank will probably be awesome, but I also know that losing a fish like this is super hard. Hope it goes well, and whoever gets him is ready for the commitment.

^^

Yea man me too. My commitment was to that grouper, and he really shook me up. I think with a bigger home he wont mess with tankmates as much, then again you can do a lot bigger stuff too.

btw the family hated mr.green, so some acceptance from the parents about what i do with the tank is a lot off my chest. I don't have to listen to them complain about the eel anymore. They love the idea of a "family tank" ......

If no one takes him donate to an aquarium or something. Problem people don't relize with these guys are their size, agression, and predatory traits. Whoever take this guy will have a hand full. if no one will, donate him to an aquarium.;) Yeah your going to take a hit, but its would be in his best intrest.

if someone told me they had a 1k tank for him there would be no hit, i would give him up easy. BUT i also no not making a price makes him have no value and he has that with me. I dont want any "average joe" to take him, cause i know what it takes, and its a lot. I have looked into aquariums and they are not interested.... They said he couldn't go in the snowflake display ..... lmfao.

Any luck finding the big green a home? I wish I had my 1900g finished already. best I could do until then is a 220g.

I'm not sure I unsderstand what you're saying.

Well i am basing the price off the size of tank. If hes going into a huge tank then its normal or low cost depending on circumstances. If you really wanted him for your 220, the price would be higher. That way i know he would be taken care of because the value is higher etc.

if you want to make sure it has a good home make sure the person who gets it has full control of their living situation and wont let their parents / bill-payers change their love for it later on down the line...
