I would do a "bamboo forest" style tank with a few cherry shrimp and cardinal tetras.

It looks from your avatar that you've got another tank going with some carnivores in it. If you feed them live fish, I'd go the route of breeding some type of a feeder fish. It's not a large tank to do so with, but I'd put some live-bearers in there so you can pick them off here/there for a treat for your main fish tank. And of coarse, live plants would be cool.
