Actually not really. With 65lb braid you kinda just put the rod tip down and real as fast as you can.

Why do you use such strong line, it sorta beats out the fun imo. I use 10 lb mono on my baitcaster.

When u are using a 40+ dollar swim bait you dont want to take any chances. I lost one at like 2 am in a tree. I was sick for the rest of the fishing trip

Here a pic of the swim bait I throw now. This is the one I lost. I bought a new one and its basically the same color. All 3 of those bass where caught useing this bait
