Hey Rob, figured I'd help you and Wes by supplying the pics. Wes has 8 pieces right now but I'm taking at least 2 of them off his hands so get em while you can. :) Also just a quick heads up I believe only the males have the spots.

Wes, I would love to see a pic (when you have time) of the A. crassipinis. And, do you know if they're a m/f pair? Lastly, would you be willing to sell just the crassipinnis?
Would be interested to know if you separate them, what the price would be on the orbicularis. I may be interested. Also, please let me know if the orbicularis are a pair.

Got these Giant Trevally from Wes Nov 2015. Already at 12" in less than a year. Still kept in brackish. Great shoaling fish and easy to keep. Will take pellets. Seasonal fish so get them while they're available. This is not a paid announcement.haha

I should of mentioned that only the one closes to the ruler is a GT Caranx Ignobilis (high back). The others are bigeyes Caranx Sexfasciatus. I like the GT better.
How would they do in freshwater long term?

So these are caught in brackish water. Probably end up in the ocean as adults. However, science is fluid, its not concrete. Over years, not thousands of years, fish can adapt. There are crater lakes in the world with landlocked marine species, and it didn't happen over thousands of years. Lake Tal in the Phillipines have complete freshwater Caranx sp. that grow to 3 feet in size or more. Same with Lutjanus argentimaculatus in Australia.
