This is a mint conditon 6.5 inch male colombian blue umbee.

As you can see in these photos he is a stunner of a fish.

He has become to aggressive for my community.

I'm selling him for $100 or best offer.

Local pick up in NJ.

Would it be cheaper if I pick him up? Coming from Queens

I can knock off $20 to cover the fuel and tolls.

If your interested let me know when you want to come get him.

I'm sure he would like 1 of your females as long as they are not too big.

He is 6.5 inches from the tip of mouth to the tip of the tail.

If you want my dovii's we can make a package deal.

My dovii sale thread is in the "mid atlantic reigon" listing section , and not in this "north east reigon " listing section.

Check that thread out for details.

Photos do no justice for any of the fish I'm selling.

I will give u a call when i am at SA

He just got too aggressive with the rest of my tank these last couple weeks.

Its tuff selling him but I can't have a tank with just 1 big fish.

I don't want to get into the spawning thing either. Too much work and I don't want to chance a prize male getting torn by a female during mating ritual. After seeing male dovii's get torn by female dovii mates anythings possible.

I thought you said in another thread you were getting a wild pair of Umbee? Why get Dovii and Umbee if aggression would be an issue? Also if your worried about a female killing a "prize" male grow out the males and get a female that is considerably smaller. I bet if you had a 15" solo fish in a 180 or larger tank you would think twice about community tanks.

I never said I was getting a wild pair of umbees.

As for aggression , every fish is different just like people. I know dovii and umbees are considered to be in the highest aggression catagory. I was hoping I would get lucky and have a milder mannered fish. He seemed fine for a while then changed.

He wants to spawn and thats probably what led to him being much more aggressive. I have no interest in spawning umbees so getting a female umbee is out. It would also be ashame to not spawn him so I would rather let someone else keep the legacy going.

As for getting umbees or dovii's ?

Your dovii profile photo and a photo of The General is a good explanation as to why anyone would want these fish.
