Anyone have this happen to their Bichirs? What was the out come... "FLUSH"?
You guys are too funny.:D are you sure you didn't give him viagra thinking it's the new Hikari pellets? Did it looked normal when you first got it? can you post a pic? I have an endli that was normal but grew up with a croaked neck for no apparent reason. If it's the same case you might just be bad luck. My 6" ansorgii is doing great. (knock on wood):D

Picky?

I know he looks normal (its a still pic).
He ate yesterday and this morn he was flipped over (not dead...yet). Dude cant turn back over, looks to be to much work for him. Oh well... if hes gotta go, then hes gatta go

Thanks

:( sorry friend. Have you changed up their diet any? Carnivore pellets are a good additive to their diet b/c its got lots of microminerals that he should be getting. I know a nutriet deficiency is a long shot, but it's still a shot.

Glad he's eating! That's a good sign. Hopefully he turns over today...... I'll cross my fingers for ya......

man sorry to hear it Eric, I know others are thinking vitamin B deficiency, but like you said the others are fine that are getting the same diet.

any vitamin b breakdown from the thiaminase in shrimp/seafood is minimal, since our fish still grow when eating it :)

Yeah... I hardly do that mineral stuff for myself, yet for a fish:ROFL: ;)

I think they like the $25 pack i buy by-weekly... The big boys eat about 8-10pcs a day and are growing fast. The Big Ansorgii in the pic is from the same batch with the 3 smaller ones... just got the big one about 3 weeks before the smaller ones

Alright, Its Lights Out for the Ansorgii.
Called home n was told hes sleepin with the rocks
