Mint works surprisingly well.

Give the Pothos you have a chance to grow for a month. I think you have plenty!

What is the LED light, is it designed for plant growth or just a cheapy?

Just wondering because if you get good growth with a cheapy LED light I might try the same thing. My tanks are in the basement so I can't use natural light.

My bamboo or bamboo type stuff called lucky bamboo didn't grow a millimeter in 6 months. But it isn't hurting anything.

I think that 7 pieces of pothos will be an excellent start. I guess more wont hurt... but in a few months it is going to be very populated in there!
