i put it in at the begining of turning my Python to fill up rather syphon. water going in was 76 degrees. about. prolly 1-2 colder than normal
Dont forget to test your ammonia levels, just because your nitrite and nitrate are zero dosnt mean your ammonia is zero. It could be at deadly levels. Also you mentioned that the only chemical you put after a water change is declorinator, dont forget beneficial bacteria like stress zyme or cycle. As for as the haziness on the top of your water I wouldnt really worry to much about it, it could be dust build up, I have that on my tank. If you want a crystal clear water and no parasites in your tank, invest in a uv light .
