It is a bad idea to mix fronts with overly aggressive haps, peacocks, and other Malawi fish. In long term setups, it is not wise to put fronts in over stocked tanks. You mentioned that two fish have jumped the tank. This is a sign of being stressed due to aggression. I would not call this working out well. Many of us have made the mistake of mixing the wrong fish. That is why we are hearing offering advice on what has not worked. I hope you do not take this the wrong way. I am by no way attacking you or your advice. I have found after keeping fronts in many different setups, that mixing fronts long term is tough.

What has worked well is having a few comps/calvus and cats with Fronts. They leave each other a lone for the most part. Of course a large front has been know to eat fish that fit in their mouth.
