6 gallons is too small for H. fuscus imo. Not only is it a small body of water but seahorses are extremely social with other seahorses. I would consider this the same as keeping one tetra in a tank. A huge myth is that seahorses need low water flow, this is a myth, seahorses need clesn waterand benefit greatly by having a nice volume of water being turned over. The key is to have low flow areas and not low flow in the entire system. Also i think you will have issues with heat. Seahorses do best at 68 degrees to 74 degrees to prevent vibrio infections becoming more viralant. So I saw the 6 gallon nano cube, and I was wondering if in the future I should set it up as a seahorse tank. I would maybe put one H. Fuscus seahorse in, because I don't want to have to deal with the live food for dwarfs. On seahorsesource.com, it says that they need 15 gallons for one pair, but if I do just one seahorse, will it be okay? Do I need to do anything to the intake of the filtration, or are these seahorses to big for the water movement to hurt them? Will I need to diffuse the out put of the water from the sump? The tank dimentions are 11/11/13, I think. Thanks!
