Hi m8, may have some good news for ya. In February Dani a Uk transhipper will be having stock from Thailand comming in to the Uk and guess what ...

tranship cost is only 50 quid!!!



Thats a great price considering Iam just about to pay 250pounds for my tranship cost from Thailand to Germany then finally to Uk.

Yeah canny wait but the more i think about it the longer it seems to be taking ;/

been 4 months of sitting about wondering if they ever gonna turn up ;P

First make contact with the Uk transhipper Dani and confirm tranship date and negotiate a nice tranship cost ...shes local so should be able to cut you a deal ;)

Should only cost a Uk transhipper 15-20quid for next day delivery but ofc they got to add in their service charge which around 30-40quid.


Make purchase of aquabid and give tranship details to your aquabid supplier and vice versa. The aquabid supplier will send your wetpet too the transhippers Thailand exporter.Exporter sends to Uk transhipper and Uk transhipper sends to you usually the very next working day and hey presto, if all goes well you just got your hands on something unique that most Uk aquarists will not process :D

Holy crap thats way too much for a srt, theres a guy who lives 2 hours away from me that breeds them for cheap.

Would this guy be Chris aka Cjbarth? Hes been a great help to me in advice and sourcing them as well. We share the same Srt Thai supplier as well.

Yeah your lucky your in the US and there is much more available. I dont think anybody in the Uk are breeding these or selling Srt breeders.
Must have spent couple months searching the forums, websites and giving 15+ different FS a phone but nobody could get them ... if it turns that there is i may go jump out my bedroom window!! ;(

thay have black in them because they are breeding but ehrn there not they are the platinum colour!

Whoa .. awesome fish and good luck with the fries! Was that an arowana in there :D Does he no bother the Tx and try munch on them fries ?!?!

Yeah basically you pay for your fish to aquabid seller then pay tranship fees to transhipper.If you can get that Uk transhipper it shouldnt be too expensive ;)

so if i bought something now will the seller keep till the tranship date?

the aro doesnt bother them! he has tried but they just bully him away so doesnt really try any more! there is also a 12" jag in there and the mother and father keep him awat too ( the parents are 5" ) so there doing a really good job.

do people tranship from where u are in scotland to me in liverpool?

(when ur fish eventually breed when u gt them and they have fry?)

Yeah if you ask the seller before hand it shouldnt be a problem. Pat/Rainnybetta held my SRT breeders since June and didnt complain one bit and has actually did a great job keeping them happy n healthy :)

Yup the Uk transhipper will be able to ship to you nps.

Thats the plan to give us Uk folks an easy way to get a hold of SRT's!!
Dont wanna get too ahead of myself and start setting out prices before they are even here ... but if you are interested
let me know and will Pm you after my Srt's have arrived :)
