Ill look up the stats on them,I have naturally hard well water with almost 8ph can they live in hard water and think they can keep away from my jack the ripper in a 4' 75 gallon tank?

Oh I feel dumb sortof...the are also known as denison barbs,I think these would be great but I also think my Jack D would have a very expensive dinner at 15$-20$ each
Find some in your local fish store that way you can get bigger ones and stay ahead of the dempseys. Mine had a pack of full size ones in a display tank, 5 to 6 inches long. I pick mine to stay ahead of the cichlid in question mouth size
Ill give it some thought,only ones Ive seen in my fish stores were 2-3" and they want 15$ each,Jack will definately kill or most likely eat fish that size
