Yippee!
I came home today to find 6 more baby rays! I wasn't expecting them for another 2 weeks so they are a little small, hopefully they will survive (a couple of them are only 1 inch across but they are still alive). Two of them were killed by the male (
) so I moved the remaining six (there were 8 born) into the 50g grow out tank with the other 2 baby rays born 3 months ago. Hopefully the 3 month old ray won't bother them (he's only 3-4 inches across himself). So that's a total of 8 baby rays from the original 2. Ewing definitely picked the right 2 for me, thanks!
Luckily I bought some black worms last Saturday as I knew she was close. No more mad rush after work to Winnipeg (100 miles away), I timed it just right for a change.
