Depend though, I have seen it work with 2 jar. Just make sure there big enough space for them. Since you pond aka kiddie pool seem big i think it would work but than why not 1 of each type of arow? Jar, Lei, Silver, Black. Than add some kois and other pond fishes.

3 even at 3-4' would be very cramped in there.

yeah... since it has occasionally (maybe even rarely) worked with 2 jars... 6 will logically work just fine.........

correct this is why it was suggested that they be moved to the pond once they reach 24"
