How thick is the glass and what type of glass

1/2" plate

Very well done on the build. Looks very nice. Thats something I'm going to have to do when I'm ready since I can't get a big tank in my basement.

Couple of questions though, How did you setup your sump and plumbing (overflow)?
also did you use Fiberglass for the seams?

I have 2 - 1" returns and 1 - 11/2 return.

Yes I fiberglassed the seams and then ran a bead of silicone over all seams just to be safe

Old thread but nice build. Is the tank still up and running? Pond shield usually requires 4 coats to be safe I heard.
