WHAT!!!! ONLY 8bit!!! Waste of money

if you ever want to be able to post pics on MFK you'll have to upload to a photogallery such as photobucket or flickr, in the process all pics are reduced from 16 bit or so to 8 bit. also for many photo editing techniques you must reduce to 8 bit aswell.

there really isn't any change in pic quality after reduction so it does not matter.

A camera is only as good as the person holding it.

I'm sure I could take some pretty crappy photos with a $40k camera.
