Snakeheads are illegal in the US... And why wouldn't you put a bichir in a 2ft aquarium? I haven't read about many that have exceeded 1 1/2'

Just because the fish can grow too the length of the glass doesn't mean they'll be comfy. They need room to move. How bout I give you a pool that's the same length as you and tell you to live in it? Only bichir that would work in a standard 60g (3ft)would be sengal. Which is the smallest. Your tank is only 2ft its no good for big fish. Sorry to say but its only good for small community fish for life. Tetras rams neons. Spiney eels. Cory cats

Edit read you have a 90g then you could do a sengal but should move it after a it grows.

do you have a lid? If no then they all will jump. Its not a matter if they will its when they are extreme escape artists. Nothing you can really do now maybe add aquarium salt.

I have a lid, but he managed to get out still... We added some stress coat and he's starting to move more, so I'm gonna hope for the best now.
