Oh, and by the way, maybe you should fill and test it outside :naughty:

Eh....no way! Look at the stand....it doesn't look like much in the picture. The top is two layers of 3/4 inch plywood. The legs are 4x4's. The beams are 2x8s. And there is a center beam that is 3 2x8s spaced 6 inches apart with 3/4 plywood inbetween.

IT's heavy, and a pain in butt to take apart. In fact, the LFS owner delivered the glass for free for me, as long as I got the stand myself.

:)

bad *** setup. what store did u get that bad boy from? are you in the lp or up?

Wow, that thing is a beast. I bet it weighs a ton. I would be afraid of breaking a 10FT glass panel when moving it. How did you move a panel that long without causing it to flex and break?...

And what kinda fish will "we" be putting in this tank...

Stock list:

1 Common Pleco (6 in)
1 Red Oscar (5 in)
1 Tiger Oscar (4 in)
1 Chocolate Cichlid (4 in)
1 Green Terror (3 in)
2 Black ghost knife
1 Pike Cichlid
1 convict
1 Green Sevrum

I bought this thinking I would put an arowana in it...but he jumped out of his tank months ago. Just couldn't wait for the tank I guess.

So I am stripping the tank now. It's kinda cool and frustrating, because I can see where air pockets had formed, thus the leaks.

BTW....if anyone knows of a chemical I can use to strip the silicone....let me know!

I heard elbow grease works pretty well.
