The stand and aquarium look amazing! I bet the fish do as well but I can't really appreciate them because they blend in too much with the background.

Is there any way to make them stand out?

Yeah black sand and black bacground w silver fish doesnt exactly make them pop. I used white marine sand in the past and it was better plus it helped buffer my PH. I am open to suggestions. Scarping the paint on the back of the tank would probable be a major challenge. Im not sure it bothers me enough to change out the sand either. I have had artificial plants but my armatus gets real funny when he other fish are forced to swim in his part of the water column and starts slashing them. Thats why i keep the tank so bare. Any ideas? Maybe those stick on vines on the back of the tank?
