the reflex of the light on the glass make it look more dark than it is on the photo...

Awesome tank... I have questions for you...

I recently finished constructed a concrete tank also, and when I started putting the fish into the tank, they started to die after 1 week.
Yes, people suggested that it is because I did not put anything to seal off the concrete to stop the chemical leech. So my questions are :
1. Would epoxy be sufficient to seal it off ?
2. How about ceramic floor tiles ?
3. How long to cycle the water before restocking ? To make sure about the harmful chemicals from concrete don't leech into the water ?

Thanks a lot in advance....

If they died after one week it could because of the lack of a nitrogen cycle, or because the chemicals on the concrete (i was told the problem with bare concrete is that leech bad stuff and make the water super alkaline) i used epoxy and it worked for me, but you have to make sure to clean all the dust from the concrete.

For cycling the tank you could use any method, just search cycling on the forum, i like to use cheap fish, but stocking just a few, feeding them, checking parameters until the cycle is complete.

Nice DIY. I love your set up.
