yep like I said a wels would be nice. Get a baby one and raise it up. They grow slowly, there is someone that has a albino one that is 3ft I believe in a large tank but not as large as yours. You can handfeed, etc. Mine is being handfeed and is a nice catfish

Dude, that's like saying it gonna be yo everyday common ,nothing out of the usual goldfishtank of 600 Gallons!

I Can imagine your first plan would involve flooding most of your home!!
Personaly I'd say RTC for sure.
But i,ve seen ,em in Zoo's and I decided that it gonna be too big, even in a 600Gl!
