5 Coats if I remember correctly.

Glad I could help! I actually got the design Idea from someone else I simplified it a tad bit though, he had plywood then hardi panel on top of that but he ended up having problems with that.

On a different note I have DRAINED that tank! Its about to get morphed into a Vivarium filled with Bromeliads, Orchids, ferns and other tropical plants. Inhabitants will be Dendrobates Leucomelas!
