600 gallon plywood in wall tank with filter room finished pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Awesome job dude. I do agree with fake coral tho. Some driftwood or rocks would really set that tank off but if you like the coral than who cares what we say lol

IO went with the coral because I really needed some color in the tank with it being all black

Love it, definitely better than just fixing old tank!

Just grab a big bit of bogwood and some smaller colourful dither fish and there's your colour you need!!

Look forward to the build thread.

Very cool, use that enter button more often when typing though lol.
Looking forward to the build pics. As this is exactly what I plan to build mine like.

What did you seal the plywood with?
and where did you get giant filter pads from? that's pretty much how I'd filter mine!

Awesome tank. I agree with the decor being out of place, but it's yours so do what you want with it. I like my tanks on the darker side. Drift wood and large rocks would be my vote.

Funny thing is everyone thats sees my tank in person compliments the decor but most aren't fish hobbiest. I really like the decor and put alot of thought and money into it but its all good, I see the point though of fake coral in fresh water it didn't really cross my mine at the time just wanted to add color and not take up alot of depth
