Good lord, all of my threads end up the same way. I'm sure someone will find them in a couple years in the archives and wonder "what the hell was wrong with these people?" I'm sure some are currently thinking that as well.

Yeah I probably should've said something about your setups....

They look great, as usual.
That BB has really turned around since you first got it. Good job

The only thing that's been bugging me about the black belt is he's been showing those colors in the full tank shot (kind of a blue/purple thing) I posted, as opposed to how he looks in my avatar. He started showing those colors when I moved him over from my 125 to the 225. Something about the combination of substrate and background and lighting in the tank is probably doing it, I'm going to move him to a different tank with dark substrate and see how he looks.

Funny thing is, in the picture in my avatar he was on WHITE sand. But a very dark background.

Hey, according to the FH guys, I should probably have him with a blue background and colored gravel, eh?

No, black/dark background with black/dark sand/gravel will suffice. BB have different base colors than most Flowerhorn. While I had green under mine in this pic, black or darker would have done better. Hated that green gravel lol
