No decoration yet, not sure what I want to do. Waiting to find just the right piece. I was hoping for intermedia or perhaps a Leo ray. Anyway, all in time. I dont want to go crazy with stuff. My one fear is that if I put structure in the tank the wolf will claim and defend it. That would be bad.

This is my 300 so you don't think I am inept at designing a tank. ok so maybe I am. Some more Basses in there.

That tank looks great. I feel like having kids is coming up on me too fast now that my girlfriend is talking about getting engaged but I hope if I have kids they will be into fish just like your daughter. I am an avid outdoorsman and if I have kids that sit and play on video games all day I think I would scream lol.
 
wow very sweet tank an setup. is that someone playing pool in the background, sweet. if so do u ever worry about friends playing an scratching real bad. id be nervous, had people play pool an shoot balls on other side of room. i would be to scared to play with such a nice tank so close an seeing a ball hit thats tank. yikes. very nice pad tho, love the collection of fish in it as well

With that height you had to increase the glass thickness seriously, no?

Ok, so kids, like MFK fish, are a lot of work, sometimes challenging but you get out what you put into them. I have three, and if I had my druthers I would hang out with them 100% of the time. The more quality time you spend with them the more they emulate you. You'll be fine.

So it is 8'x4'tallx30" and it is 1" acrylic. The unnerving thing about it is you can see the front panel noticable bow out. This is normal. Yes it is tall but the 1250 gal coming is 10x4x4 so I am going to have to get use to the height;).
