When the pair of cons lay eggs, the other fish will only have 1/2 a tank. Then when the fry start free swimming and are wandering around, all h*ll will break loose.
i dont realy want the fry i have a Realy nice Pink con about one inch has realy nice color and BOLD. So rigght now they are all apart. Kribs n tetra stayed in 20 and cons are in 10g... Cuz i think he was stressing out my Krib cuz he now just staying in his cave. what if i load the tank full of cave and Rocks to hide around? can my fry last alittle longer to be sucked up and removed?
it is almost impossible to have male and female convict in such a large amount of space not have fry.... You would have to get rid of the eggs every time they lay them and that will be alot of cleaning.... Even if you dont have fry i think the convicts will fint the tetras as food later on

True that RedKid. With a pair of convicts there's a huge probability they'll breed. Especially if you have a 3rd covict that can pair up with one if the first two don't, whether it's with a large amount of space or a puddle of water.
yea theres a very slim chance if you have a male and a female in that tank they won't breed.....and if you have a third con then they have options to choose from so they'll breed..........the other tankmates are then gonna be at the mercy of the cons because they'll take over at least half of the tank........i don't see those tetras lasting long at all either..........
