yeah finally got myself some temensis..nxt update will show them in the 180 growout tank..180 wont be nothing major just bare bottom with some driftwood etc..

As fast as they grow, that's probably a great idea. Before you know it, they'll be too big for the 180! When I make it over the hill, I'll definitely have to stop by.

I am going to contact truvu for a custom tank n see how long it will taketo build..lmk when u wanna come by i will throw some beer on ice
 
Whats good to feed these guys? I am not wanting to feed massivore bcuz i hate massivore poop..also when transporting them to my 180 for growout i will be taking pics of measurment and pics of bottom for sexing..i am truely excited to finally have fish that i searched for n wanted so badddd..i am going to redo the fishroom as time goes n getting it ptepared to house these big guys for life..

I even actually name all my fish but havent named these guys yet..havent got to learn eatch personality..

I love how they are always schooled up..also thx to my wife for my temensis for christmas..i emailed truvu for a price quote for these guys bigger perment home..asoon as i find out how long its going to take i will let you guys know....
 
I love Tems, wish I had room for them! They are the reason why im allready dreaming of another custom built Tenecor...somewhere in the range of 168x48x30. Its gonna happen....just need a bigger house :ROFL:

My heater wasent keepin my tank warm enuff and these little guys got ich not to bad added another heater heat is steady at 87 added my quickcure and salt..
 
Yeah ich is almost a certainty with young cichla. Most of them wont eat anything but live so its only a matter of time in most cases. The salt and 87 will do the trick. Has always worked for me
