It wasn't made into a tank - rubbermaid makes those tanks out of thick fiberglass/plastic molds with the viewing panes - and you can buy them brand new like that...I just can't find the site that carries them.

Sorry, I got confused by your wording - thought you meant that this tank on ebay was bought without the glass pane and turned into a tank.
I wish I could remember the site that sells these now - they come in five different sizes and look exactly like the one pictures minus the epoxy paint.

The only thing I see odd of this tank on ebay is the parts that are sticking out. Looks like he used it as a little self. I'd probably box it in with plywood so it looked a little more smooth, and probably stuff the open parts between the fiberglass and plywood with some sort of insulation to help keep heat in
