Cohazard and Burbot have gotten me motivated to take some shots of my grow out tank in our living room. I'm digging out the pics from set up in March 2012 and adding new ones as I take them. I'll get some better full tank shots tonight when it is darker outside.
This is the original setup on March of 2012.

Here are some pics from this week. More to follow shortly!

Ropefish extreme closeup! I have three very large ropes, and one teeny tiny one that refuses to grow.

Dwarf lily close up.

This amazon sword has spent two years doing nothing until recently when it finally started to grow.

Another pic of one of the three retros. They're hard to photograph, the like keeping at least some of their body in the plants.

Another ropefish closeup.

The teugelsi is no sitting at 10" and starting to grow at a fairly rapid pace.

The endli is also finally starting to put on size. Measured at 8" today.

Closeup of the smallest retro. The patch above his eye developed after about 6 months. Not sure of the cause, but it has stayed so appears to be permanent.

Closeup of the endlis head. I love the patterning on this little lady.

Nice tank! Love the stock and the scape, your teug went from what looks like 3-4 inches to ten inch in a year? I recently got a couple baby teugs from rapps n havent been able to find much on growth rate of teugs in particular. Right now theyre going at about an inch a month maybe more

Thanks Mike. The three big ropes are all between 12-13". I'm pretty sure they're done for growing. As much as I want 18" ropes to exist, I think it's all chalked up to over excited estimations.

Thanks Buffalo! Mine is still small compared to my buddy who got one from the same batch about a month after mine. She's pushing 12" already.ShHe was at 6" for the longest time, and just recently started a new growth spurt, which will hopefully continue. Smelt season should be coming soon, so everyone will get a good treat for a few months.

Here's some pics from tonight. Two years after pic number one. I just did a massive prune of the bolbitis and dwarf sag. Removed a lot of java moss too. There's a bit of staghorn and BBA cropping up, but they should vanish in short order once everything balances out again.

Endli and teugelsi hanging out. I WAS taking a pic of a retro that was in the open, but the teug saw that and was having none of it. She came out, chased the retro away and posed for the next shot.

Look at ME! She loves being photographed. I won't complain, she's gorgeous. :D

And here's a full tank shot. I just got some new plants for the hangers. Some clippings from a spider plant and a spring of oak leaf ivy. They should add some nice contrast and a bit more mass to the back plantings.

How many polyteridaes can you see?

The teulgelsi looks absolutely stunning! What kind of substrate do you use?

Yup, your tanks are what got me into plants. You are very good at what you do. What you have there is what I am trying to emulate. Not too shabby on your photography either
Two questions, are you running CO2 and what type of substrate?

Thanks for sharing these pics
