Thanks guys! The substrate is black sandblasting sand. I really want crushed garnet sand, but it's not available at all in Canada that I can see. No Co2 at the moment. Just Excel. I really need to get some new bulbs in my light unit. The current ones are several years old.
The camera is just an Olympus Tough point and shoot, but I'm quite pleased with the results. The Supermacro is great.
