Can you maybe give a bit of a breakdown of your plumbing? The pipe leading across the front of the tank, is that part of an ato/ drip system? This looks amazing. Can’t wait to see it up and running.

Have you done anything like this previously? Looks like you have some sort of experience with this type of build. Cool idea about the dots, I always wondered what would happen with heavy glass being silicones together.
Sure thing, the pipe in front with the blue valve will be the drain(back wash) for the canister filter i will be adding later on, i have builded a couple glass tanks in the past including whats now the sump, no pro by any means just a lil handy and i have done my homework (i think lol), got a lot of input by just looking at other peoples pictures here so ill try to post w.e i think is worth noting ,i have though about doing a plywood tank for a few years and now was the time to give it a shot.

You can try to find a decent 240g tank which will have the 1/2 glass you could use.
I'd have to do it on the 2nd one I find. The first 240 will have to be used for the frontosa's. I've had them in a 125 growing out but the time is coming for their final home.

Alright guys here it is..tank has been full for almost a week, still adjusting things with the plumbing to see what will work best, no major problems this far just a small leak on one of the bulkheads in the sump and some silicone took care of that. I will run it for a while see how everything goes than i will cover the entire front with cabinetry so only the glass is seen.
