There are a couple of indoor whale tanks already. #1 biggest in Atlanta and #2 biggest in Japan go check em out
whale sharks are not whales
but there are killer whales and belugas among other small whales in aquariums. not sure if killers and belugas are more like dolphins than whales though
True is not a real whale but its the size of a whale at 40ft. I still consider those two big tanks Whale tanks in my book. Orca's grow to 30ft Sperms at 49ft only a little bigger then the whale shark..
I don't like to see them kept in small pools like Marine world keeps there Orca's in. But a huge tank like in Atlanta is the size you need for a fish that big.

I watched an extreme water attraction show. It is filtered ocean water from directly next to it. It holds the world record from some french guy I believe swimming all the way from one end to the other and back I believe. It would be awesome to throw in some monster fish in there lol might not appeal to the little kids that swim there though. Also I think its 68 million gallons. Regardless its the worlds largest pool and its in south america
