That depends, are you sticking with "true" peacocks (ones that you can actually find in the wild) or are you open to hybrid/line bred fish too?

There are several different varieties, google them, and see what's available to you.

and also just wondering about this but what is the growth rate of the peacocks, are they slow growers? And same whats the growth rate on the syno

Anything that looks cool and doesnt disturb the others and isnt to pricey

I'd say they grow about 1/4-1/2" a month. That syno you linked above looks pretty cool, not sure how fast they grow, I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer that one. You could also use the forum search feature as I'm sure that question has been asked before

And that's a good price for that fish, all the Syno's we have where I work run 30-40 bucks.
