Its been a while since my last post, so its time for an update :)

Fair bit of work was done over the last few weeks, _a lot_ of staging and preparation .... but its all getting there.

Completed..
  • Cabinet all stained and sealed
  • Got some nice BIG rocks for tank decor, should go nice with my custom pebble mix
  • Major plumbing work was completed today with a trial fitting (as seen in the photos)
Next..
  • Disassemble plumbing
  • Final re-positioning of the tank and glue all plumbing
  • Add some water :)

I'll keep you all posted with the next stage of progress soon.

Watch this space... :)

It looks good! What are the dimensions?

;)Looks awesome GeeWiz! I am sure that your dovii will love it. Will be checking back for more pics.

Check my original post, covers most of those details..

Tank Specs

6ft x 2ft x 2ft 10mm Tank
2ft wet/dry sump (media: bio balls + matrix)
4500L/hr pump
2500L/hr power head
2 x 300watt heaters

very nice!

a thought, that bulkead strainer on your tank return might cause water to spray everywhere like a sprinkler. i'd either remove it or get one of those flexible return spouts.

Geewiz....... very nice setup! I like how simplified and clean it looks! Very maintenance friendly. Good work!

Now let see those Dovii's! Specs on your Dovii? Pair? Size?

That is very nice setup I like the clean lines and thick center bracing as well as the plumbing it looks very clean.
