They are tough and great, but some people find them ugly, and unless you are careful. they will strangle your other plants.

Not to mention you need a fair amount of maintence to keep it looking good and free of trapped debris...

But when it is done correctly and a lot of care is taken when tying it to items such as wood the end results (especially with phoenix moss) can look amazing...
