Great work! I like the height of the stand it would hold up your house! I'm going be doing a metal stand and hood next month and looking for inspiration. Its crazy to see all the measurements in metric!!!

What kind of finish you putting on to preserve and protect wood??
 
hey mate im a builder , iv seen 2 of those studs hold a pack of flooring which was weighing about 1.3 tonne which were 2.7m high with 1 nog through the middle. i reckon a could put another 3 tanks on this and it would of been sweet . As long as your frame isn't relying on the sheer of the nail and has sufficient studs to hold it , it'll be sweet.
 
haha yeah i no i dont understand inches we have measuring tapes here that have inches on one side and mm on the other i just get confused lol . i just put 2 coats of like a mahogany gloss stain and it comes up nice . This stand was for someone so im not sure what they did with the finish . If ya need a hand give me a yell.
