Kiddie pool developed a air leak and was required to be pumped up 8 times a day. So I built the next best thing

Its not pretty, but it wasnt built to be, just to house them and keep me sleeping at night. 3/4 plywood with 2x6 reinforcement

Pleco likes to look like a tiger on the white sand

This morning I was awoke by some flip flopping thudding sound on the floor. I was thinking, its not leaking its a pond liner. Then it dawned, **** its a fish! My biggest tin foil jumped! Luckily I came home last night or else he might have not had a chance, he was only out for maybe 15 seconds before I got him back in. So he forced me to cut some 28x19 peices of corian and I threw them on top. They will die before they can jump again!

Pond liner 47$ shipped 8x10
Materials from home depot, (2) 3/4" plywood (6) 2x6's (2) 18x24 plexi glass, and 1 box of 2" and 3" drywall screws $80.00

Heres a lame vid

FUN!!!! That does look awesome!! Only bummer is that you can only view it from above! Either way, that looks awesome still! Where did you put the filters at?

Ya it sucks only being able to see them from the top

I have a cascade 1000 on the left corner, for a little mechanical filtration and more bio. Quiet one 6000 is on the other corner for more mechanical than bio.

Those fish are growing up in a broken home, always having to move! Pretty soon they are going to need therapy! ( I mean one even tried to commit suicide!)

- Nice temp tank, doesn't need to look pretty, just needs to get the job done.;)

Ya tell me about it, they moved what 3 times in under 3 months? 55 gallon to a 150gal pool. then to a 150gallon blacked lined tank. Im not sure how they feel, but as long as the eat and dont die, its allllll good!

Other than only seeing them from the top the tank/pond looks good.
