Kiddie pool developed a air leak and was required to be pumped up 8 times a day. So I built the next best thing
Its not pretty, but it wasnt built to be, just to house them and keep me sleeping at night. 3/4 plywood with 2x6 reinforcement
Pleco likes to look like a tiger on the white sand
It seems my balas prefer to be around rocks and plants rather than in the open
Tank in its glory
This morning I was awoke by some flip flopping thudding sound on the floor. I was thinking, its not leaking its a pond liner. Then it dawned, **** its a fish! My biggest tin foil jumped! Luckily I came home last night or else he might have not had a chance, he was only out for maybe 15 seconds before I got him back in. So he forced me to cut some 28x19 peices of corian and I threw them on top. They will die before they can jump again!
Pond liner 47$ shipped 8x10
Materials from home depot, (2) 3/4" plywood (6) 2x6's (2) 18x24 plexi glass, and 1 box of 2" and 3" drywall screws $80.00
Heres a lame vid
